Get Involved with Committees
There are many areas in which you can serve in your neighborhood. If you are interested in chairing or serving on any committees below, please contact Home-Land Neighborhood Management. Your ideas are always welcome in making Palisades a better place to live.
Pool/Clubhouse
The pool and clubhouse (and surrounding areas) are our largest assets in Palisades, and they are the single most used areas in the neighborhood. Therefore, the Pool/Clubhouse Committee ensures these assets are maintained and kept clean and up to date and used in the most optimal way. If decisions such as these interest you, we hope you consider joining the Pool/Clubhouse committee.
Security
Palisades takes security very seriously, and we want every resident to feel safe in our neighborhood. Currently, we have security cameras in various locations throughout the neighborhood and are in the process of adding more. Ideas and improvements to enhance the security of Palisades are always being discussed, and a new security committee is being formed. If you think this new committee sounds appealing, please consider joining.
Social
The social committee serves many areas in the neighborhood. From planning events and decorations for holidays, to hosting informational sessions for topics of interest to residents, and delivering welcome baskets to new residents…no matter what your interests or what your age, there is something you can add to the social committee.
Communications
Communications is another new committee to Palisades. The communications committee handles all the social media communication such as Facebook and GroupMe, as well as neighborhood emails. This committee will also be responsible for creating the (also new) Palisades Newsletter each quarter. And finally, this committee would also manage the newly released Palisades website. If one or all of these appeal to you, this committee needs your participation.
